Blackberry syrup:

Combine blackberries, sugar, and water in a saucepan. Cook, stirring occasionally, for ⏱️ 5-10 minutes. Press through a fine mesh sieve. Discard the solids and chill the syrup.

Combine all ingredients in an ice-filled pitcher. Taste and adjust the ingredient quantities as necessary.

Run a lime wedge on the rim of each glass. Dip the rim of the glass in a shallow plate filled with granulated sugar or coarse salt. Add ice to the glass and pour in the margarita. Garnish with blackberries and slices of lime.
