Black Bean Brownies
These black bean brownies are an amazing way to get your sweet fix. We love to mix through sweet, juicy raisins but you can also replace these for chocolate chips for a more indulgent treat, or even melt down some dark chocolate and drizzle it over the top.

Preheat the oven to 180C (350F), fan setting.

Place the chia seeds into a bowl with 5 tablespoons of water and leave to soak for at least ⏱️ 10 minutes.

Once the chia mixture is thick, place all the ingredients, except the raisins, in a food processor and blend until smooth.

Stir in the raisins until evenly mixed in.

Line a baking dish with baking parchment (31cm x 21cm x 6cm), pour the brownie mix in and spread it out using a spoon.

Bake for ⏱️ 40 minutes, or until a knife comes out almost clean.

Let the brownies cool to room temperature before serving; this is really important as they continue setting during this time.
