Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

Cut 2 cans Pillsbury Grands biscuits into quarters using a pizza cutter.

Spray a 9x13 baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.

Spread the biscuit pieces evenly across the bottom of the baking dish without pressing them together.

In a medium skillet over medium heat, brown 1 pound breakfast sausage until fully cooked. Drain the grease.

Spoon most of the cooked sausage evenly over the biscuit pieces, leaving a small amount of sausage in the skillet for the gravy.

Place the casserole dish in the oven and bake for approximately ⏱️ 30 minutes until the biscuits are cooked through and lightly golden.

While the casserole finishes baking, return the skillet with the reserved sausage to medium heat and add 2 tablespoons butter.

Once the butter is melted, whisk in 4 tablespoons flour and cook for 1–⏱️ 2 minutes while stirring constantly.

Add ½ teaspoon garlic powder and salt and pepper to taste.

Slowly pour in 2 cups milk while whisking continuously until the gravy is smooth.
