In a large bowl combine cooked bacon, flour, chives, cheddar cheese, baking powder, baking soda, salt, onion and garlic powder.

Grate frozen butter using a cheese grater. Stir into the dry ingredients. Add buttermilk and stir until combined. Make sure not to overmix.

Lightly flour countertop and roll out dough into a 1 1/4 inch thick rectangle. Cut out 16 biscuits using a 2 inch biscuit cutter.Place biscuits on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and place in the freezer for ⏱️ 30 minutes.

Meanwhile preheat oven to 450 degrees. Remove the biscuits from the freezer and bake for ⏱️ 15 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm!
