It seems that I have not been doing too many desserts recently and I had been craving something sweet. I always enjoy using fruit in desserts and one of the quickest, easiest and most rewarding

Toss the apples and rhubarb with the sugar, flour, cinnamon, orange juice and zest.

Mix the flour, rolled oats, brown sugar, cinnamon and butter in a large bowl.

Place the apple mixture into an 8×8 inch baking dish and pour the topping on.

Bake in a preheated 350F/180C oven until it is bubbling and the top is golden brown, about ⏱️ 35-45 minutes.
