Apple Pie Waffles
Waffles with an apple pie flair, made with apples and all the favorite fall spices. Then topped with vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, and caramel sauce!

In a large bowl whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, allspice, and salt.

Add in eggs, milk, and butter, until thoroughly combined and smooth. Stir in the apple.

Preheat a waffle maker to your desired setting and lightly coat with nonstick cooking spray; pour some batter onto grids (amount will vary depending on waffle maker.) Close lid quickly; do not open until done.

Cook according to manufacturers directions (about ⏱️ 3 minutes or until golden brown). When done, use a fork to lift waffle off grid. Repeat with remaining batter.

Serve waffles with a dollop of whipped cream, a scoop of ice cream, and homemade caramel sauce. Garnish with more fresh apple.
