In a bowl, combine sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and salt. Whisk to combine. Place apples into slow cooker and toss with spice mixture. Cook on low for ⏱️ 10 hours, stirring occasionally, until mixture is thickened and dark brown.
