FOR THE DONUTS:

Preheat oven to 350F.

Generously grease a 6-mold donut pan with cooking spray or coconut oil.

In a bowl whisk eggs, maple syrup, coconut oil and vanilla bean paste. Add almond meal and baking soda and mix until combined.

Divide mixture between 6 donut molds.

Bake donuts for ⏱️ 10-14 minutes, until golden.

Allow them to cool for ⏱️ 10 minutes inside the pan, then carefully take them out. Let them cool at room temperature.

FOR THE GLAZE:

Bring 2 cups water to a boil. Add sugar, cook for ⏱️ 5 minutes.

Add hibiscus petals. Cook for 4-5 more minutes. Turn off the heat and cover. Let the mixture cool for ⏱️ 10 minutes, then strain. Let the glaze cool completely, it will thickens.

Drizzle glaze over donuts. Serve or keep in the fridge for up to 3 days.
