Preheat the air fryer to 400°F.

Spread the chickpeas on a kitchen towel and pat dry. Transfer the chickpeas to a medium bowl, drizzle with the olive oil, and sprinkle with the salt and pinches of your preferred spice, if using. Toss to coat.

Spread the chickpeas in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Air fry for 10 to ⏱️ 15 minutes (I do 12), tossing halfway, or until crispy.

Enjoy immediately or store at room temperature for up to 2 days.
